Another successful uKnoa User Group Meeting concludes! Thursday, September 24, 2015 marked the fourth uKnoa User Group and Community meeting since the group’s inception in December of 2014.
As the community grows and diversifies the meetings have also evolved. We’ve had meetings onsite at customer offices (Disney and Johns Manville), at Tommy Bahamas restaurant just prior to the SAPPHIRE and ASUG Annual Conference and most recently at the SAP Headquarters in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.
The uKnoa meetings provide a forum for customers to share stories, challenges, solutions as well as gain insight and knowledge from colleagues, Knoa experts and thought leaders.
This past meeting consisted of an eclectic mix of speakers from customers, to SAP thought leaders, Knoa experts and partners.
There were a lot of eye-opening moments during the day, below are just a few the highlights, take-aways and exciting new enhancements covered during the event.
Guest speakers:
Kerry Brown, SAP, VP User Adoption gave an eye-opening and very interesting presentation on the “Future of Work” and what that means for organizations and their workforce. As technology continues to advance and the millennial generation becomes dominant in the workforce, the future of work continues to evolve rapidly.
Customer, Beth Fenwick, Director, Global ERP Program at Pfizer shared how her group has been leveraging Knoa data to streamline training and training materials within specific divisions of Pfizer’s global organization. Beth shared the challenges faced by the training department and how by using Knoa they were able to identify specific training needs, enhance training materials and ultimately reduce training time by 57%!
Bogdan Nica, Sr. Product Manager at Knoa provided a review of the enhancements made to product over the past year and a view to the product roadmap. Bogdan also hosted a session on how to easily visualize Knoa data through the use of tools like Lumira and Tableau.
This four hour session provided Knoa customers with an opportunity to learn from their colleagues and peers, to share ideas and use cases and uncover additional value from their Knoa and SAP investment.
As part of the session we introduced a new format for uKnoa meetings going forward, three virtual meetings and one annual in-person meeting per year.
